Day Three Daily Devotions!

January's Theme: Hope

I believe that I am going to make it appoint to start out each day (not just with devotions) with Praise and Glory and Adoration to the Lord, and I discovered just the way to do it. God loves to be showered with praise and glory and adoration (as do we) but He actually deserves it ALL the time. He is rejected daily by so many people that I bet it can be sad for Him to know what he gave for each and every soul on this planet that ever was and that ever will be and to know that despite His best efforts some people are going to just reject Him anyway.

So, since we all support one another I am going to add to my day a Praise song to my "Daily Walk With God" aka my 30 minutes on the treadmill with my iPod blaring in my ears. This is so important. It will lift your spirits and make you smile...

My kids have loved this song for years and I just redicovered it today...

The Bible says, Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my sould, and forget not all his benefits. Psalm 103: 1-2

It also says, "I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 34:1

These are words to live by and why not? Wouldn't you rather wake up and sing a praise to the Lord and start your day out with a shout to the Lord and a smile on your face.

Let's Stop Feeling sorry for ourselves and Let's stop sucking on Lemons...Let's Praise God with Joy in our hearts and Praise on our lips.

As a Matter of fact I am going to give you all three of my favorite songs and they are ALL great songs with a strong beat for walking and smiling and singing to the Lord...

One song may not be your cup of tea because it is very modern but listen to the words and give it a genuine shot...I think it is great!

I hope you all give them a listen and I hope you enjoy all of them. The Cartoon Song and the Happy Song make me happy and uplifted the Toby Mac song although more serious in nature is still a great song to give thought to when you listen.
