7 small things to change my life

I am putting together my 'resolutions'/'goals' for the next year. Some of them I have already started on, but I have not been tracking them...so HOW am I supposed to know how I am doing. I have put together a page to track everything. I have tried to be restrictive, but also sound somewhat positive. I don't want to think that I am restricting myself...HOWEVER, if I don't restrict myself, I will keep doing things that are bad for my body.

So here are my seven things that I am going to do for myself (track for myself) this coming year.

1 - Make (and stick to) a meal plan
(at first, this may not be counting calories. I am focusing on our finances as well, so we are trying new recipes, using things we already have at home. I hope to include making sure these meals are healthy...but I need to work on these slowly to put them into place) I already have our meals planned until the 12th of January
2 - Commit to a budget, Do not overspend
We have built the budget, I need to print it out so that I can have a constant reminder.
3 - Foocus on a chore plan
I need to take better care of my house, the cleanliness. Some of this may be delegated, but it needs to be done
4 - Get rid of extra clutter
Spring cleaning, but all year round
5 - Work on exercise plan
I have put together an exercise routine for the entire month of January. I tried to keep it more simple at first and then build in harder workouts and made sure I had rest days in place (I can always do more if I want)
6 - Embed losing weight into exercise plan
I want to be healthy and fit....but hopefully weight will start coming off if I keep to my schedule
7 - Cut out all soda beverages
Soda is not good for you...or me ;)
Diet sodas are not good for you, even with no calories. I need to stick to mostly water and other beverages (fruit juices, milk, etc.) on occasion.

I will be tracking each goal everyday, as a yes/no (did it happen...or for others, I may track a number...how many sodas or how much weight lost)

Good luck to me. I am really hoping that I can focus on these. They need to be visible. Let's see how I do.

    I did well tracking the first couple of weeks, but then Joe had a problem with planning our meals in advance. Then when I didn't write that one, I wasn't following the others and BAM! it seems like it all fell apart. Getting back on the wagon though.
