Happy today

I just wanted to say that I am happy today, and feeling proud of myself for making some good (well, better at least) choices lately! I also have a goal to lose a pound by Friday, December 17. So, I need to hit 213 on my scale (same time daily, lack of clothes, etc) by that day! When I put my mind to it, I really don't have any problem losing a pound or five or ten. I can't say that when I am closer to my goal weight, but where I am now, when I stick to my plan, the weight falls off when I follow good nutrition and fitness.

I struggle with fitness. My current strategy is to consistently do small things. I am going to keep working on that.

    I love your positive attitude. Just keep with the small changes and you'll get where you want to be. I started with 10 minutes at a time on the treadmill and now I do 40 minutes without any trouble. I started weight lifting/strength training last summer and that turned out to be my favorite exercise. I do a circuit of weight machines at a fast enough pace to count as cardio. It just feels so good.

    Take your time. If you start with small changes rather than big everything at once changes, you are more likely to stick with them! Keep at it and keep us posted! Best wishes!

    I am glad you are happy today! I know you will meet your 1lb goal by friday!

    I agree that so far as long as I stick to my nutrition and exercise the pounds are falling off! If I don't lose I know I was notty! It won't always be this easy!
