First day!

Today is my first day using this site. I have to admit, I was a little scared when I saw all the information, but I am now getting used to it. I am very angry with myself and my weight and at times I feel powerless to do anything. I really need to tell myself I can do this. It is possible. I have seen results, not from me but from others. I worry about my heart because my family has a history of heart disease, and I can't sleep. I really need this and I really hope it works for me.

    The best advice I ever got was to take it one day at a time. Make a dream goal then log it in the back of your mind. Now make tons of little goals and write it on your sparkpage and create rewards to give yourself whenever you reach a mini goal. it doesnt have to be weight loss. Make one be 8 hours of sleep or a nutrition goal like cutting out soda for a week (that would be hard for me lol).

    Most of all start out slow and work your way up towards a healthy lifestyle.

    Your reasons for becoming healthy are very similar to my own! My sister developed heart problems, DVT, and gall bladder disease from obesity, my grandmother has congestive heart failure, so on and so forth.

    Congrats on this huge life change! I hope you have success! :)
