Motivation Acrostic

I read this verse today and it really motivated me to keep on keeping on.

Deut. 30:11 "now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach".

M-ake short term goals
O-ut with negative thoughts
T-hink of why you want it
I-magine how you will feel
V-isualize the future you
A-cknowledge your successes
T-reat yourself with respect
I-nvestigate new ideas and foods
O-bserve your healthy lifestyle
N-ever give up and never give in

The doctor's office called today and said the x-rays came back normal. But, the doctor said sometimes a stress fracture doesn't always show up until it is healed - weird huh. I see him next week. My foot was hurting some today.

I exercised and ate well.


New Goals:

1) Blessings
I am blessed with being able to stay and work at home. I have loved doing daycare. It has been a blessing to care for so many young children.

2) Low carb diet started on 11-15-10.

3) Exercise Variation
- emoticon

4) 10,000 steps a day -- and I will make sure I get that each day except Sun which will be a rest day. - emoticon

5) 9+ glasses of water emoticon

6) Finally I don't want to gain at Thanksgiving!

Goals continued:

1. Stay within calorie limit -- emoticon
--track EVERYTHING on SP . emoticon

2. Daily exercise routine
-- Exercise before SP, then log it emoticon
-- knee physical therapy (3 times a week) --
--strength training a different set of muscles ea day emoticon

3. Blog daily, even if it is short - emoticon

My original goal of reaching 229 by 11/20 seems unrealistic now since I have only lost 2.5 lbs this month. My new goal is 235 by 11/30.
9/25 = 242.5
10/2 = 241.75
10/12 = 240.5
10/19 = 239.75
11/2 = 240.
11/9 = 238.5
11/16 = 236.5

    Thank you for the Bible verse and the MOTIVATION. Sorry your foot is still bothering you.
    You are doing so well, staying focused, and eating well. I see you have 1 1/2 #'s to lose to reach your goal. I have no doubt that you will do it. You are so on track with your goals!
