Too bad there's this work thing getting in the way...

I wish I could find the energy to go running every day after work. By the time I get out of the office, stop by the daycare to pick up the 3 year old, get home, make dinner and eat, I don't feel like doing a damn thing.
I push myself as it is to even stay awake long enough to enjoy a little alone time with my hubby (the 3yr old goes to bed at 8:30). I also stay up later when my teen-agers are interested in hanging out with us as well. By the time I'm ready for bed its usually within the range of 10pm-Midnight. The time between dinner and relax time is typcially spent cleaning (non-stop laundry duties) and helping with homework.
In order to have enough time to get ready for work, make breakfast, pack lunches and get the kiddo dressed the next morning I need to be up by 6 a.m. So the thought of getting up early and running isn't exactly realistic either.
So as I sit here in my office, I realize the ONLY real time I have the energy and motivation to go running is mid-day. Around 2:00 or 3:00. Sad part is.... I'm stuck at work at that time. *Sigh*
Maybe I'll figure out a way to put in a leave request for this time each day and see if the "mood" still comes around. Till then, I've got to start going to bed earlier...
