Falling Apart Two Weeks Before My Half Marathon!

They told me at the gym that I should get new shoes since my Addidas are six months old. DH and I headed to the very highly acclaimed running store about 40 minutes from here for a professional fitting. The guy put me back into my old favorite Asics that I had before my Addidas, but that was also before I had a breakthrough with my running. I did love those shoes back then and trained in them for two sprint triathlons. They have more support in the arch and are more snug all the way around.
Two days into my new cool black Asics I feel like I am starting to fall apart! I've got some hip pain and slight outter knee pain on my right leg. This morning I only did a warm up on the eliptical and went with hip aduction and abduction and then left my legs alone and did core and upper body. After that I came home and iced.
I know they say not to make any changes before a race and I can REALLY see why! I was trying to eliminate some pain on the insides of each foot on the ball part of the foot but now... well it might be worse! I have a nine mile run on Wednesday and am debating if I should run the neighborhood in the morning or rest another day. I am also supposed to do a 5k with a friend on Saturday. The half is the Saturday following that on November 7. I'm really excited about it and feel like my cardio will really keep up but am concerned about my feet.
Has this happened to anyone else before? Any advice out there would be appreciated! I hate to get back into my old shoes and am hoping I will adjust within a few days.
The other issue I am having is that I am letting my diet slip. I really need to become more disciplined and focus on a white out - no sugar, white flour or white rice and get back to more healthy eating.
