attack of the weekends, anyone?

also, just an update on my goals:
this week i've been to the gym twice - woo hoo!

i've read two books (the first two dexter books) and i am halfway through 'the lovely bones.' emoticon

nothing exciting to mention in the savings department...yet! i'm still hopeful. i've been searching for coupons and good deals so i think i'm on the right track :)

hubby and i went to a catholic mass on sunday. it was interesting...still searching for what might work for me!

    I do pretty well on weekends. We go out to eat, but I'm learning to make good choices when we're out. I get in extra workout time, too, on weekends. I try to keep busy with non-food activities and that helps.

    Weekends used to derail me, for years really. Then I realized, they are just 2 more days, nothing about the way I eat or act should change. It was easy enough once I looked at it that way.

    Sounds like you're doing good! I cut the coupons out of the Sunday paper, making sure I only take what I absolutely need - it's so easy to cut a lot out and get food you really don't need. Best wishes on your journey to a healthier lifestyle!

    The Lovely Bones is sooo sad. I cried so much in it. The movie is good also.

    What are the Dexter books? Are they based on the Showtime show Dexter?

    I blogged about my weekend troubles as well. I called it Weakened on Weekends, lol! Too many tailgate parties with too much fatty food and cocktails to choose from *sigh*
    I'm throwing my own tailgate party this weekend and I've chosen some pretty health things ... hopefully I will be able to stay strong and resist temptation (at least better than I have been).
