A funny memory

As I was washing dishes this evening I remembered a funny thing. I sold Pampered Chef back in the 1990's. I started selling it to get the product at a greatly reduced price, but I also would have liked the cash the parties brought in. Unfortunately my base was too small and I was unable to build it up.

Anyway, one gal from my church had heard so much about the pots & pans - which were guaranteed to be easy to clean - food wouldn't stick to them. Non-stick pots and pans are very common today, but 15 years ago, or so, they were fairly new on the market. Anyway this gal, "D" ordered a set of the pots and pans. Within a month of her getting them she called me up and said "I thought you said I couldn't burn anything in this pans - well you were wrong!" I was stunned - I'd NEVER said you couldn't burn any food in the pans. I replied "Of course you CAN burn food in the pans, but they're guaranteed that the food won't STICK to the pan - even if it's burned on." She said "Oh, well, now the pan is deformed, but the burnt stuff didn't stick." I don't know why that cracked me up this evening, but it did. She was such a ditz!
