My Weekend

Monday, October 04, 2010

So this weekend my business partner and I had a craft fair we attended to sell our handbags. It was an outdoor show and a relatively cool weekend. We planned ahead and packed all kinds of healthy snacks. We had our booth set up and we were waiting for the show to open and then it happened, a hot dog stand went up about 2 spaces away from us ugh! And then the smell of kettle corn made its way over to us ugh!

Do you know how difficult it is to be sitting still in the cold all day long smelling all of this food? If you don't know let me tell you, it totally sucks. We ended up caving and having a hot dog and of course you can't have a hot dog without a coke right, to top it all off the hot dog totally sucked lol. Oh yeah and we broke down and bought some kettle corn that on the other hand was totally delicious.

So the weekend has gone by I got no exercise and kinda ate like crap but this is a new week and I plan to get back on track. I hit the treadmill tonight and ran for 25 minutes straight I didn't think I had it in me. So for those of you who went off track this weekend just remember it's a new week, put the weekend behind you and move forward I know I am.

Way to go Mandy! I love your attitude. One hot dog and a coke and some kettle corn isn't going to derail you. You planned ahead and that's awesome. And just think, the next time that hot dog cart is near your booth, you'll remember how bad the last one tasted. lol

It's tough though. For me, it's pizza...Chris and Ethan have pizza probably once a week. I love pizza and love the smell of it. But every time they have it (well in the beginning, now it only bothers me if I have PMS) I just tell myself "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" and it always makes me turn down the item I know I will feel guilt over. It's just not worth it.

You have such a great attitude. Every day is a new day to make great choices. A clean slate and a clean plate and you make the most of it. You are doing so great! You should be so proud of yourself. :)

Great attitude! I love it. I'm also moving forward with you. I need the calories. I don't eat much really. Anyway, I guess I should say I had so much fun, I was singing Shania Twain on top of my lungs. She's my favorite country singer let me tell ya. lol
