getting the hang of it

I'm beginning to feel more comfortable with my new routine of tracking and doing sparkpoint activites. I also took a fairly short walk with the poodles today, so that's a start on my walking plan. It wasn't much at all, but at least I did it and that will make it easier to do it again. Baby steps. I'm not in a race to see how fast I can lose weight. Instead, I want to get back in the habit of making healthy choices and regular activity, and to do it enough to lose weight gradually. Then I can find a way to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I'm not really thinking of that now though. I'm concentrating on meeting the nutritional guidelines SP gave me and creating a schedule for my life that will work, now that I have a change in what I'm doing and when. I actually seem to have a bit more free time, and for sure more time at home. I'm pretty happy about that!
