Feeling STRONG.... mentally and physically!

Today was an upper body workout. So I lace up my shoes and head over to the gym with my friends.

This is what I did:

3 sets of Bench Press: 75 pounds
3 sets of Bent over Rows: 35 pounds
3 sets of Incline Bench Press: 65 pounds
3 sets of Lat Pull Down: 75 pounds
3 sets of Seated Shoulder Press: 45 pounds
3 sets of Tricep Overhead Extensions: started with 25 and ended with 30 pounds
3 sets of Bicep curls: 35 pounds
3 sets of Lateral Raises: 10 pounds

emoticon What a great arm / chest workout!!!

I actually went up for my incline bench press. Last week I was pressing 55 pounds. I needed to have a spotter though because my last set was shaky. And after I got done, I received an applause from a few lifters. That felt good! I also upped my shoulder press weight too.

It feels great to work these muscles and see my arms taking shape! I am feeling strong and know that I can do it!!!

The weight room used to scare me because I didn't know what I was doing up there. It now feels like home and I am comfortable using the equipment and I don't feel like people are staring. Weights are very important so I am glad I was able to get past my fear.

Feel strong sparkers.... lift some weights!!!!
