Emailed pictures are a good thing

Tuesday, September 14, 2010

Emailed pictures were the only way I got to see just how big my daughter was getting. The pictures that they sent were taken 16 days before she was born (and I hounded for those pictures too. It's amazing at just how much you really do miss being away from the kids. Now I know exactly what my mother went through since my kids were military brats and then when I left my ex, I did not want to move back home.

I want pictures of her as my screensaver and backdrop. That way I'll be able to see her every day when I turn on my computer.

I ordered my daughter a flower arrangement that has a dozen pink roses in them. Hubby got upset about the price after you consider the delivery fees and taxes. It's not every day that your children has a baby...or at least not mine anyway...lol

Congratulations on your new little princess. Yeah, grandfathers do get excited over new babies they just don't like people to know that. Glad that you were able to get some pictures and you're right sending flowers are a great idea (no matter what the cost) they will cheer up the mom. Wishing all of you good thoughts.
