The Perfect Fit

Wow, I haven't written a blog in a while!
I have been searching for a gym or some place like it that I can take exercise classes for the last little while. I wanted to make sure that I found a place I could take morning classes (around 5:45 am) that I would enjoy, that did some kind of dance class at night, had a reasonable fee and the option of childcare. I had checked into a few places and there was only one that seemed to meet most of what I wanted, but they required a contract, which is the one thing my husband really didn't want. I had planned last night to sit down and find other places in the area and make a bunch of phone calls to get more information and finally make a decision. I figured that was going to be my project for the night. After I ate dinner I started going through my mail and found an ad for a place called Sweaty Chix Fitness. They were one I had never heard of, so I thought, why not, I will go on their website and check it out. They only have 2 locations (which are both not too far from me). I looked at the first location (which is closest to me) and thought it might work, their morning classes were a little earlier or later (depending on the day) than what I had hoped for and the dance class at night (only 2 nights a week), but it could work. Then I looked at their other location, and it had everything I was looking for. The morning classes are all at 5:45, they have a Cardio Drench class (which is kickboxing, plyo and bootcamp moves), a Sculpt 'N' Burn (for muscle building and toning) and a Circuit Shock (which combines kickboxing and weights). They also do Zumba Mon-Thurs nights and Yoga twice a week. Looking at their schedule I could take every class they teach and love it, but that would probably be a little excessive. I can go and try each class for free before I buy a pass, which is great! They only charge $25 a month for unlimited classes, and there is no contract! They also to "craft time" for the kids during the later morning and evening classes (it would cost me $1.50 per kid each time, but I probably won't bring them very often, it's just nice to know I have the option if I need it). I am planning on starting classes next Monday, I can't wait to start! It's amazing how things just seem to fall into place when you need them to. I really thought I was going to have to fight my husband over the no contract thing, or settle for something I wasn't going to be as happy with. I'm so happy that I found something that will meet all my needs!
