A peek at my week!

Here's me at a quarter to 5 falling asleep on the couch. This is the way I have been all week long since school started. My kids..... still as energized as ever. So why is mom falling asleep and they aren't??!?!?!
Well maybe it is because I stay up later preparing for the next day. Getting their snacks ready, making sure I have everything set for their lunch, helping them pick out their clothes, making sure everything is signed and completed for the next day of school, cleaning, etc.... The list goes on and on! I have been so tired in the morning and falling asleep earlier than normal and just needing a break! So I cannot wait until the weekend is here again!
But even through all this stress of the kids heading back I have stayed on track with my eating and exercise. My trainer gave me some helpful information for my nutrition. I have tried out a few recipes and LOVED them! I am even incorporating these new foods for my kids lunches and snacks. Healthy eating for everyone!
This week I have also been having some killer workouts.....
Tuesday was weight lifting with my friend. We did an intense workout and my legs are still sore today. Wednesday was running 4 miles and climbing over 400 stairs.... what was I thinking with my sore legs! And now today it was back in the weight room working my arms and chest. Thankfully giving my legs a break!
So that has been a peek of my week so far! Sorry for not blogging the past few days. Hoping to get on track with that again too.... it really does help!
