I need Help Getting back on track with my weight loss.

    It looks like you got it under control. This is part of maintenance. You can do it. You will have to fight this for the rest of your life. I am there too--I just had to make up my mind I was not going back. You are doing the right thing by nipping it in the bud.

    It's good that you are catching this now at a 17 pound gain. It's good that you are asking for help. I agree with others that a few fast breaks may help. What helped me recently was to join fewer teams and give it my all rather than taking on so many challenges. Take one step at a time.

    I am DEFINTELY there. Right now I'm not working and thought "once I'm home, I'm really going to workout, I'll have all day." I worked out more, drank more water and ate way better when I was working. This is NOT working out the way that I planned. Getting back in the groove is so dang hard!!

    Reading this blog makes me want to get myself back together. I guess the best part is I'm not gaining, but I haven't lose any weight in months.

    Start over...as if you were beginning at Spark again. Go back to basics. Make a couple of small obtainable goals, drinking your water, walking 10 minutes a day...log your food.

    i could've video blogged this a year ago. i can sooo relate!! falling off track is soo easy but getting back on track is the toughest part of this journey. the amazing part is...it can be done and dreams do come true!!!

    bottom line...only you can do this for yourself. dig down deep and know in your heart of hearts that you are loveable, deserving and worthy of a healthy body and vibrant joyful life.

    believe in yourself. the power lies within you....ALWAYS has been...ALWAYS will be. don't sell yourself short. you are beautiful, strong and more powerful than you think. now find your groove and get your sweat on!!

    Thank you all for you advice and much needed words of encouragement... I did not work out today like I had hoped but I did track my food intake and stayed within my calorie range.

    Katybug48... I know how you feel ..if you would like maybe we could work together to get out of this slump...let me know.

    ... you are right, I definitely need to log on to spark more often, reading about other members success is definitely motivating.

    CUATROMOMMY... I took your advise and went back to the beginning starting fresh, clean slate...And you are sooo right about feeling good and happy when I know I am doing whats right for me. I will definitely send you an email when I need encouragement...which might be more often than you'd like...

    RENA1965... You know what, I used to keep a goodie bag, and I remember being soo motivated to reach my goal so that I could treat myself. thanks for reminding me I am going to work on that right now

    Track all your food- see the calories your putting away, looking at the totals may make you more clear over what is going wrong. It may help you think small changes when in the supermarket.
    Don't put dates on goals, do make food you like to eat and make it colourful, spiced and look great on your plate..
    Ask friends and family to help you on this one- tell them your worried about your weight getting out of control.. Loved ones should support you, I know my kids do.. My youngest kid is like a policeman- he says and what are you doing with that mom? Are you allowed that, you know how angry you get when flipped off over again blah blah..
    Also have a non food goodie box, if you do good give yourself a small treat- have a carrot in front of your nose if you like..

    My best suggestion is to start with small goals. Go back to "fast break" on sp.

    Ask yourself what makes you happy. Does overeating & not exercising make you happy? I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Are you happy when you are eating within your limts and exercising? I know that makes me happy.

    You deserve to make yourself happy. We are our own worse enemy. Try being your own best friend. Set one or two small goals for tomorrow and be your best bud tomorrow. You can do this.

    I don't know how much you get on spark, but if it's not very much, I suggest coming on more often, watching other peoples vlogs and stealing their posative energy for yourself. Also go online and LOOK for inspiration weight loss videos and articles. If you get inspired by something new everyday, it may help you to stay on track!
