A new week

So it is a new week, 2nd week of school. Mostly caught up and a little ahead with home work. Got some practice time in for cutting. Thinking of checking out blue steel club or finding classmate who is doing well with cuts and asking for some help or even setting up time with instructor to get some extra help. Know I don't need them to be perfect seeing as I really am not looking to work in a full kitchen but to learn them and learn them well is still key being we are tested on them.

Lots of options to check into, lots of things to learn. Reading the Culinary Student Success book lots of areas to look into for mentors, experience, information, etc.

It all is exciting yet a little overwhelming!!

As for the gym and exercise, squeezing what I can in w/out over doing it. Took Max for a walk/jog yesterday, nice to do more jogging then walking. With weight of books and walking I do with that load not adding a whole lot more in except maybe some ab work and occassional job on treadmill or elliptical plus a little bit of arm weights to keep it all looking good and going strong.
