Thanks Jackie for your kind words! The surgery was kind of hard--the whole womanhood issue was a bit strange to deal with for a while, but when you realize "hey no more cramps once a month!" it gets better! I tried to get out of taking hormone pills but my doc wouldn't let me (I had the surgery done at 41 and that makes you too high at risk for osteoporosis since that is considered young for a hysterectomy). Thank you for the belly project site--that helps a lot, actually, made me realize that a LOT of other people's tummies go through a LOT, too! We had our 6th day back today, actually, but it went okay for a Monday. We went back on the 16th, kind of early but we are done before Memorial Day, even the teachers are. When do you go back to work? I mean school work, I know you are working and tutoring a lot now. Have a great day! 3344 days ago
I'm sorry to hear that you had to go through a hysterectomy; I can't even imagine how hard that was. Thought you might enjoy this website, it's called the Belly Project: http://thebellyproject.wordpress.co m/ It's basically this blog that has all these unedited photos of women's bellies, and it definitely gives you an appreciation for how much they can very.
Such cute shorts!! I totally agree--they are great to aspire to!
