Day two triumphs and failures!

    After I workout hard I like to make myself a protein shake. It's not too heavy, easy to make, good for helping your muscles repair themselves, good for your blood sugar and it's an easy way to get more protein in your diet. My fav. right now is a Banana Peanutbutter shake. 1 cup of nonfat milk, half a banana, spoonful of peanutbutter (or to taste) two scoops protein powder, throw in a handful of ice cubes and let her go. This also can be a meal replacement.
    I like the tuna lettuce wrap too. Or I like to cut up an apple and just use tuna like dip with it. It's a yummy combo. :o)

    I agree with MINE_AH13 go for a cold piece of fruit right after the workout to get you back in gear....I usually try to eat something cold before getting in the shower and then I find I am more apt to want a lunch about 1/2 hour later. Just a tip!

    Skip the chicken, Go for a tuna sandwich!!!! lots of lettuce, red bell pepper, onion, mustard (no mayo) You can do a full sandwich, an open faced sandwich, or if you feel like that will be to "heavy" take a large lettuce leaf and put the tuna in it and make it a wrap of sorts....I personally prefer tuna when its hot out because it tastes better cold than chicken! Good luck!!! Another Idea just to get something in you, after you run come back and have a orange or pineapple...something sweet and juicy. the sugars will give you a burst of energy that might be enough to help find the motivation to make an actual meal.
