What Motivates Me to Keep Moving Foward

This is an email I sent to HONEYBUNCH24 who asked me how I stayed motivated
I know what you mean about the motivation problem. I suffer from it from time to time. What usually gets me back on track is my medical history. I have borderline hypertension. If I don't exercise regularly, my blood pressure goes up. It's a problem my whole family has along with heart disease. So, I keep that in mind everyday. I'm the only one of my siblings that is not on high blood pressure medication.
The other problem my family has is diabetes. One of my sisters has died because of complications due to diabetes and my 2 remaining sister have it. I am pre-diabetic and I am determined not become full fledged diabetic. I try to act as a model for them and all of our children so that they can learn to have a healthy lifestyle.
It is not easy. Sometimes I just don't want to do it. But I realize I can't be selfish. There's more than just my life at stake. So those are the things I think of when my motivation is at a low ebb. There is one more thing... How I feel. When I don't exercise and eat right, I feel just awful. I'm tired all the time. I can't think clearly and I just don't feel well. A couple of days of that drives me crazy. I just have to get moving and start eating properly again. I'm OK for a while after that but, my motivation flows like the tides. It may get low at times but, I'm never giving up. My motto is: Keep moving forward! I always will. There's too much to loose.
I know when you think about it long enough, you will find that one thing or two that will keep you moving forward. I hope this has been helpful. I know you can do it as I've said before!
Keep moving forward,
For anyone who is having motivation problems, my advice to you, too is to think about it. You will find reasons within and outside of yourself to keep moving forward.
