What A Great Day

Just like I thought it would be, today was a phenominal day. Met thirdxacharm as planned and we saw Eat, Pray, Love. I really enjoyed the movie and now I want to go on a trip to Italy. Watching her eat that pizza - oh man alive..I'm glad they showed the fact that she had to get her "big lady pants" lol. And, the movie did inspire me, since I'm feeling a little out of sorts about myself, i guess. Not sure how to exactly word it but like thirdxacharm and I were talking about afterwards, maybe i can do my own mini eat, pray, love. The eat part WONT be pizza or anything like that but new foods that ive never tried or new types of food (still healthy - hello october!) and just being open to new adventures, experiences, people etc. Anyway, after that we went to chipotle and sat outside and the weather was perfect. The only thing is we always have CRAZY birds! They look like they want to dive bomb you. Then off to Old Navy where we clearance saled it up and I got a cute bright pink tank (for 2.60) to match the blue comfy skirt i got LAST lunch date, and a pair of comfy lounge gaucho pants (also clearance!). Definitely bargain shoppers today!
It was so weird though. We were looking at sizes and i held up a pair of size 14 jeans. That used to be my regular "go-to" size. You know, the ones that were always 'comfortable'. Holding them up today, they just looked SO big! But its funny, i still have a hard time with realizing im not that big anymore. I always want to grab sizes that are too big!
Onto talking about my goal weight..
So the deal is, in order to go on the Palm Springs trip I gotta hit my goal weight. Well, we were talking about the fac that my magic number is 135. Why? I have no idea. I've never been that weight before but it sounds like the number that everyone wants to achieve..but luckily, i trust my pal here, and she was looking at me (with HONEST eyes) and said that I really didnt look like i needed to lose 13 more pounds. It more than likely wouldnt be a weight i could stick to. And I was telling her, i never figured out how to find a GOAL weight I just chose a number. I know im not happy with where I'm at and when i was at 142 awhile back, I wasnt done there. So, i've decided (with advice) that since I want to get toned, ripped, "aniston-ed" (lol) I am going for my goal to be 138. If I decide to NOT go for the ripped, toned, body then the goal will switch to 135. Definitely happy with this decision.
After getting home, I hit the gym and ST it up for awhile. Tried to remember all the moves my aunt taught me but couldnt remember them ALL, so i did some machines too..ill have to have her write them down! But I did the bench press and i think its my new favorite thing. Then, my Nike + wont register my running on the treadmill (bummer!) so i have to run OUTSIDE in order for me to be able to put it on the nike site. So what did i do? Kept my car in the parking lot at the gym, locked up the water, towel etc. and ran two miles around the neighborhood! After a strength training session..little tiring and didnt do my best BUT i still did my required 2 miles OUTSIDE!!! Wooo hoo! Definitely proud.
