Great Work Shop today!!!

Saturday, August 07, 2010

From start to finish, the women's wellness work shop was awesome. The ladies kept complimenting us on doing a great job. I'm really happy about this. It makes me feel wonderful to know that my staff can do an excellent job on all aspects of their jobs!! I'm really proud of them all.

About 1/2 of the women there are victims of domestic violence. I started off the work shop with basic nutrition. Hayley did restorative yoga. Vera did laughing yoga. I followed up with teaching them how to use the gym equipment and floor exercises. We broke out for lunch...deli meat, whole grain bread, cut up veggies and fresh fruits. The afternoon was filled with self defense. It was very empowering to them. It was great to see them all have smiles on their faces. A great feel good day for all!!!

Dancing tonight!! Not too late!!! Race for the Cure 5k in the morning. I've got a HUGE hill to climb in the morning! No sweat!

Awesome dance lesson today. Making leaps and bounds with technical parts...thank goodness!!

Game Plan:
Race for the Cure
Absolutely nothing else planned....Day off!!!
Doing the happy dance!

1. The whole day! I'm still on cloud nine!!
2. My couple that I see 2x per week, did their triathlon today!! WooHoo!!

Strong Mind, Strong Body, Stay the Course!!!
