Not Whining So Much As Shaking My Head, "Awww Come On, Man!"

Thursday, July 29, 2010

I set a goal months ago to be at my 180-185 range by July 31st. Well, it's July 29th, and I'm at 209.

I can't complain - I've lost 35 pounds this year, and I haven't REALLY been trying all that hard. All's I did was just add in a bunch of walking and some basketball and a time or two with the Wii Table Tennis on a weekly basis.

I wonder where I'd be if I'd have included EATING HEALTHIER? I'd probably already be in the range.

Oh well. There are people with bigger issues than having lost ONLY 35 pounds in seven months.

For instance, Lebron James is a dufus. How's he gonna come back from that when the NBA season rolls around? Now THAT is a problem.

Me battling my MOOBS is minor in comparison.

Anyway, I got nothing to complain about, and I know I'll be where I intended, only I have to tack on a couple more months.

All you thousands and thousands ladies out there who have all gotten in line to snatch me up, well, sorry. This hot-buttered manmuffin buffet isn't ready for dinner just yet. Got some more cookin' to do. Meanwhile, please feel free to enjoy this Glamour Shot of me....

Thanks for the photo. Now I don't need my coffee this morning. I need alka seltzer instead. I hope my eyes clear up before I have to get in the car to drive home.
