(This post is for girls!)

So, I thought my old... um, from about 7 years ago... sports bras were doing the job. I've looked for others, but haven't found anything else I like. Well, today my trainer had me doing jumping jacks and I was looking in the mirror... yikes! I need some new sports bras... badly! (It was kind of embarrassing.)

So, any suggestions? I'm fairly big (DD), but I am 'diminishing' right now. I went to a running store (Fleet Feet) and they didn't have anything big enough. Academy has some more I could try on. Anyway, is there a site or something that could tell me what to look for? Or, what do you look for in support? I don't even know what size I am any more!

Thanks! emoticon

I agree I love champion sports bras. I find them at Target. My favorite one actually hooks!!! But I haven't seen one like it in years. I also tend to buy a size slightly smaller than I am.

My rule on sports bras is buy smaller than you are...i just found a really nice one at Walmart of all places. The best ones are those for extreme sports activity by fruit of the loom. Check them out!

Shoes and girl support - the most important things we need for running!!!! Here's a link to one of the articles about sports bras (sorry about the copy & paste!)

It tells you how to measure for one. If you have a Victoria's Secret nearby.. they may be able to hook you up. Good Luck!!! :)

Champion makes some good sports bras. Go to Eastbay.com and they usually have some, relatively expensive but good products...nothing is too expensive for the girls. I remember someone discussing this topic in the community boards...possibly the exercise and fitness forum....go there and ask and you will definitely receive quick responses. Trisport might have something as well as SportsAuthority and even places like Bikenashbar often have sports bras. emoticon I am NOT big and even I get sore when the ladies are asked to bob and weave too much! emoticon
