Cycling Spark Team?

I am planning on buying a bike, hopefully next week, and starting to ride. In fact, I'm looking at a 27 mile "tour" in mid-September. There are also 3 practice rides in August. Anyway, II'm wondering if any of you belong to a cycling Spark Team you enjoy? I'm also looking at doing duathlons, especially as I wait for my late April tri! Thanks!
