Attempting CHANGE Again.............

2010 has been quite a year. Started out with training from 2009 and going to walk in a half marathon (quite an adventure for me). Was rolling right along with 5 days a week at the gym and loving every minute of it (usually at least 2 hrs a day). Wasn't loosing tons of weight but was firming up muscles and feeling extremly well. End of January I broke two bones in my foot and things have went downhill from there. Spent quite a few weeks (12) in a boot, then came physical therapy for the tendon damage. Around June was actually able to walk some distance without pain but still battling pain (sometimes severe enough to make me sit down). I spent a lot of time sitting on my rear end and gained most of the weight I'd lost back. I know that I can do this, it is just getting the motivation to do it again. Our Spark local team still stays in touch for the most part, but we aren't active on Spark like we used to be, I miss Spark. I know that the bottom line is if I want to make the changes, I can do this. So I am writing this to make myself more accountable to myself. I figure if I throw this out here, I will have to start and put some effort into making the changes necessary to become healthy again. Ready, Set. GO.

    SO nice to see you again! I am sorry you have had such a difficult time with your foot. And hey, it happens...when we sit and can nto exercise, the weight does creep back on. But you have a great attitude, and you WILL see those pounds come off again! I KNOW you can do it!
