How it feels to be back on track...

Friday, July 16, 2010

Feels right. Feel like I can look forward to better days/health/activity etc.

I have to fight my tendency of late to feel demoralized by the 'aging factors' that are impacting my body and life in general. NOT the time to give in to it.

I acknowledge all of it. It's real. It won't go away. Has to be worked into what is 'me.' There's enough strength left to keep on working on better health though. I CAN do this for myself and my loved ones.

Gosh I was glad to read this today. I'm having the aging blues lately. Maybe something to do with sending my youngest off to college in a month. Maybe something to do with pesky physical ailments that have descended with a vengeance on both myself and hubby. Whatever: we've got a road out there ahead of us -- yes? Yes! Thanks for the reminder.

Yes, you CAN do it. And I know that you WILL do it. You are a beautiful person with so much life in you. I know that anyone who knows you is blessed by your spirit. I know I am!

No matter what's going on with our bodies, it can't touch who we truly are. I'm right behind you in the "process" and I'm getting more and more comfortable with myself. I'm finding a certain freedom in my life these days. Kinda' nice really.

    I say...bring it on! I'm ready!!

    Have a wonderful week-end!

Being strong and healthy does make you feel younger. As for the un-stoppable aging stuff, that just means it's time to work on your Sparkling personality! We all meet someone now and then whose personality is so delightful, we hardly notice their looks. As we get older, we need to be one of them, lol.

I think people always remember how NICE, how FUNNY, how HELPFUL we are. And of course, there's that favorite of all time - the GOOD LISTENER. Those are our projects as we get older, IMHO. Karen
