Vacation disaster

Saturday, July 10, 2010

Imagine ...

you come back from a 2 week vacation. What do you have: an enormous load of laundry. It has some priority as wearing winter clothes in 100 degrees is not a good idea!!! So you put in your first load ... the machine works, you hear all the right noises ... you get it out to dry and you notice some odeties ... the load is part dry, part very wet ... it does not smell fresh as it should.

So you put it back, start the machine again and yes ... al the right noises except .... listen again ... it sounds like the thing is turning, but does it do that really ... take a good look ... the load coes out as you put in, only part wet: .....

MY washing machine gave up on me!!!!

OK it was 19!!! years old with NO repairs ever so I knew that it was way time for retirement. But could it have happend AFTER I did my vacation laundry ...

Up to mum with the essentals ... I'm not going to get the winter stuf out

Oh No Tess! I'm sorry to hear that! Hands the YKW to Tess to use on the dead washer, it won't help, but it may make you feel better! LOL

OH, what a way to start after vacation.

It's like putting a fancy dinner in the oven to find out the stove isn't working.

Hope you got all done at you mom's. By the way how's your dad?

    Take care
