Fatigue equals where did my day go?

Tuesday, July 06, 2010

Seems like this fatigue will never go away. I slept in so late today. I felt like half my day was gone, well because it was. I did manage to call my school to tell them I will not be going to my next set of classes. Of course they tried every means of keeping me going. But I did not let them win. I told them my health was more important if they didn't see that then they should not be in my life to begin with.

I did manage to do 10 minutes on the treadmill at a speed of 1.7 but I guess that is better then nothing. I am going to try to do another 10 minutes before bed.

All I can do is start a new day tomorrow and hope to get more done. But I did make a good dinner for the hubby he was very happy about that. lol

Hope you aree feeling better soon. Hang in there! I have MS,and I go thru periods of time when I just want to sleep. It makes me feel so guilty - why am I sooo tired?? Hopefully it will pass soon. 10 minutes on the treadmill is great if you are suffering from MS fatigue!

Thanks for the encouragement girls. My body just cant get off this sleep cycle. Its driving me nuts. And I am really not sure there is anything I can do for it, but something has to give with it. I need to be up at times for my kids. I cant have my mom do everything for me. I think some adjustments to meds or something to help me get back on a cycle. And yes MS does stink. Just still learning how it affects my body.

    Wendy,

You have to do what is best for you. Jehovah gave us our bodies and if we are careless with our health and let others push us to do what we know would hurt us or make us worse off, then we are showing a lack of respect not only for our body, but Jehovah.

Baby steps are what we need to do every so often to keep us going. emoticon emoticon

10 minutes on a treadmill is not just better than nothing it is something. Each and every minute adds up. Keeep trying, 5 minutes here, 5 minutes there. I've found that exercise today equals energy tomorrow.

Some of these are really fun.

Do your best each day...and if that doesn't seem like enough, don't fret..just try to let that be incentive to do a little more the next day. emoticon What4ever you CAN do, is better than doing nothing. emoticon
