Day 3: Easier than I thought.

This is going swimmingly. I guess I had already made the changes in my life to bring about the returns I want. But that leaves the question "why haven't I lost the weight?' I think that is a two fold answer. One being that I should get my thyroid checked (I have an appointment this afternoon) and two is more complicated.

The second part of my weight loss resistance is multi-faceted. A combination of genes, hobbies, and weaknesses. But that's where I need to dig in and start working.

Genetics are working against me. We are of hearty stock, which is a HUGE blessing. Strong and healthy is wonderful, but when losing weight, it slows us down. Bummer but that's about all there is to it, that doesn't change the fact it has to be done.

Hobbies. I need some good ones because apparently I have woken up middle aged and forgot what I love to do. Well I am getting back to my roots. Drawing, painting, yoga, hiking, I LOVE to go and do. These hobbies/habits will help complete my healthy living makeover.

Weaknesses. This is where I need to focus. So next blog will hopefully explore my weak parts.

This puzzle will be solved and I will find my path to health. Today is just another step.
