Day 2 going strong

Yesterday was the official start to Hubs and my weight loss program/project ect. I weighed in at 188.1 and we've agreed to keep a weekly spread sheet of our progress. We agreed it's easier to see the progress when you remember exactly what the start was.

On Sunday I had cooked up some meals and portioned them out to exactly one serving. When Hubs returned home last night he said he didn't feel so tired or drug out, but was surprised as to what a serving actually was. Considering we were probably putting a portion and a half for lunches. This led to a discussion about how it's really easy to eat more than a portion. Which still amazes me. Last night Hubs portioned out whole wheat cereal for his drive in to work. I think he's going to see a huge drop in weight once

We're also on Day 5 of taking both dogs for a walk after dinner for at least half an hour, but it's been pushing forty-five minutes. We're going into a heat wave in the next few days. My question is, if it's hot outside do you burn more calories when it's hotter?
