Thanks for your comments!!! :) My backup plan for regular soda is diet soda or other no calorie drinks. The only cal drink I am still drinking is skim milk. (And I rarely drink that because I have some intolerance to it). If I give up all soda including diet, I know that I wont make it, so I have to allow myself diet soda for now. The main reason for giving it up is because I am taking in a days worth of calories just in Mountain Dew, not to mention the other food....

try giving up the soda... you don't need it for your body. Look at the ingredients and ask why would you put this into your body! Good luck... Oh and replace the soda with a different drink... maybe tomato juice which is healthy and your getting your veggies. Very good for the skin. I just wanted to send my luck. From what I have heard the transition from regular to diet isn't that bad. My mother (which probably isn't the healthiest thing) started me off when I was in elementary drinking diet coke, so I have never really cared for full-strength sodas. Again...not something I would reecommend a parent to do. Now I love the zero products that coke has because not only do they have coke zero, they also have fantana zero and it is awesome!
