Making it through the next 10 days

Following my diet and exercise routine the last week or so has been terribly hard, not really a reason for it except for the fact that it is summer break for the kids and because of my daughter I am usually at home, she can't really go outside where it is hot (today was in the upper nineties and tomorrow we will reach 100), and I tend to fall into the problem of an object at rest tends to stay at rest. So, as much as I am looking forward to our beach vacation, so that I can see something other than the 4 walls of my house or the concrete around a pool deck. I also know how hard it will be to work out and eat right while I am gone ... and to be honest I don't want to worry about it too much, I am on vacation after all ...
So, I will do what I can to get through this first 3 days, where I will be at a swim meet and not able to exercise, then on vacation where I am sure I won't eat very healthy, back to a 2 day swim meet where again, I won't have the time to exercise. Hopefully when I return the scale will be kind. If not, I will not allow myself to feel bad and know that this is a journey and every once in a while taking a side trip is okay.
