I gained a couple pounds and I'm still sick!

Monday, June 21, 2010

Last week I didn't exercise like I usually do. I was doing the new you bootcamp workouts and hardly any cardio. Last week was either raining with lots of lightening and thunder or really really HOT. So, I didn't go outside very much. I was also pretty stressed last week. AND I hardly ever get sick so this is not fun.

Yesterday was my daughters birthday. She's 8 now! She wasn't very happy that I was sick but she did a great job helping me out with things. She got a bike with training wheels because she gets so nervous that she's going to fall she tenses up. So the training wheels are just to make her "feel" like there is something supporting her. They may be a little bit but when I saw her riding the other day she was balancing almost the whole time! She also got some cards and a necklace and MONEY! She loves money! The cake was HUGE. I let her pick it out. That was probably a mistake but it's ok. Anything we don't eat is going to the pigs. Mmmmm....

The stress level here is still pretty high. The tension is really thick. I couldn't take it anymore last night and even though I felt like poop I had to take a walk. My parents dog Blue and my dog Lady didn't mind at all. Blue was being a big stinker and kept trying to pull me though. He wants to run but I can't let him because his hips hurt later if I do. Lady always wants to run too except for last night. I loaded her backpack up with a couple water bottles this time. She did well with it. Lady (almost 2 years old) is an Alaskan husky mixed with Malamute and Blue is a pure bred black German Shepherd (8 years old.) They get along with each other pretty well. These last 2 nights I've been bringing Lady in to sleep with us at night. I'm working on getting her reacquainted with the house so that when it gets really HOT she can come in and not have accidents or rip things up. I used to Kennel her when she would come in at night but these last 2 nights she slept the whole time and didn't get into anything and didn't have any accidents! Woo Hoo!

So, that's what's going on in a nutshell. I'll probably post back in a couple days to update.

I hope you all are doing well and God Bless You!

It's good that you are getting Lady used to being in the house. When it is way hot or way cold, they need shelter!

At least you got some exercise and your daughter had a good 8th Birthday. If you cannot walk outside could you walk in the Mall or every a large store if no Mall near. Must tring to help.
We all have set backs so just do the best you can and get back on track when you feel better. GOD BLESS YOU! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
