Update

Tuesday, June 15, 2010

I just want my Spark friends to know I'm still hanging in there. I've had some challenges over the past few months with family illnesses and the death of a very dear cousin. I'm front and center in handling the business affairs on this, so it has taken up a lot of time, and I've been doing quite a bit of traveling.

It is really hard to eat clean when these types of circumstances hit you unexpectedly. But I am watching portions and all in all I'd give myself a B-. I'm not losing, but not gaining either. I am working out pretty consistently given all the obstacles I'm encountering.

All in all, I've not done badly at all. But I want to keep losing -- at least another 50 pounds. And I WILL. It is taking some time to regroup. But I'm still here -- not going anywhere. I can't post as much as I'd like, but I'm not giving up.

Blessings to you all.

So sorry for you loss and the challenges you've encountered. It's good to "hear" your voice. Glad to hear that you haven't given up on your goals, but just put them where they need to be on your priority scale for now.

    Best wishes! emoticon

It's hard to keep at it when life happens. But it sounds like you're handling everything well! I'm sorry for your loss.
Just be encouraged when remember that while you may not be losing, you're not gaining! Keep it up!
You said that you have a hard time eating clean on the road. I have the same problem. When I travel (actually, everyday) I use a product called Shakeology. Have you ever heard of it? It may be something you would like to look into!
If you have any questions about it or want anymore information, just let me know! I has been wonderful for me, being able to eat clean, help with stomach problems, the list goes on!
    You're doing great!

No WONDER you've been on my mind so much lately. Bless your heart. May God grant you the strength you need to accomplish all your responsibilities. May the Holy Spirit give you comfort and lead you and guide you. May Jesus, our Prince of Peace, flood your heart and soul with the peace that surpasses all understanding.
