Pulling my hair out

Friday, June 04, 2010

My son had surgery for a hernia he has had since birth this week. We just found out about the hernia two weeks ago. One of my grandmothers had surgery last week on her hand. The other grandmother has ovarian cancer and had a hysterectomy yesterday. I am planning my daughter's birthday party and high school graduation party for a friend. Both will take place at my house on the next weekend. I've given up soda and fries for 30 days and tend to be an emotional eater. Needless to say it has been a hard couple weeks for me. I haven't exercised in several weeks do to ongoing drama and rain outside. My treadmill is still on the frits. emoticon

Next week will be better.... I will be happy.... I will work out.... I will not eat fries or drink soda.... I will take a deep breath and enjoy each day no matter what!!! emoticon

WOW!! Yes, first you need to stop and breathe. Everything seems to happen in groups. I was just there last month, between captain of the Relay team, church yard sale we were organizing, my daughter had to get her appendix out(that the Dr. thought was "some sort of infection" nothing to serious) yeah right!! That not what they thought once they found out the DR. was WRONG.
You feel like you are in a world-wind. It will get better. If you don't have time to exercise, make sure you watch what you eat. You will get back on track. emoticon
