As some of you may know, my children and I took a little trip last week to relax and spend time together. Unfortunately, my husband had to work so we had to go without daddy. My friend came along with us and brought her 5 children. So all together we had 2 adults and 11 children! It was so relaxing (believe it or not!) and the children played together so well. It's amazing what a few days away can do to boost your morale. Sometimes I like to load up the children and go on little day trips. We drive out to places we've never been before and enjoy the local fun. We usually pack a lunch and picnic at a local park or old cemetery (we like reading old head stones). It doesn't cost anything but gas money and we have a blast! So give yourself permission to go for a drive. You can reflect on your life, talk to the Lord, and see some beautiful countryside. Road Trip....it does a body good :-)
TN Momma! That looks like so much fun. We are sure enjoying our summer too. God is good and it is so wonderful to take in our creation! Also, the headstone thing is such a great way to learn history. Way to go MOM! ~Lynnizzle 3802 days ago
Oh, how precious is this post!! All those little ones just put a smile on my face -- they are just so adorable. Glad to hear that you had such a great time on your road trip, and hope that you have many, many more road trips to make many, many more memories. 3834 days ago
Jenny, I am so glad y'all had fun! Those kids are sooo cute! And I agree, roadtrips and picnics are super fun! ( until one of those little ones pees their pants! LOL!) Seriously though, look at their little faces in that second picture. Those smiles say it all! The LORD is good!!! Praise HIM and enjoy all those "Blessings" He gave you!!! Love, Your Sis
