Flax, Oat bran, Wh. wt flour Pita bread YUM! w/pics

Have you seen the Pita Bread by Joseph's. I bought it at Wal mart back in the deli department. 6 pita breads were $2.08.

Flax, Oat Bran and Whole Wheat Flour was what caught my eye. No Trans Fat, and reduced carb. No cholesterol and high protein was also on the front of the pkg.
60 cals, 2 f, 8 carb but 4 fiber so only 4 net carbs, sug 0, protein 6

Today I had this:

It was one of the pitas with top cut off just to make the pocket. 2 ozs chicken that had been grilled yesterday, 1 tb refried beans, tomato, lettuce and red onion.

Total calories was 144, Fat 3, Carbs 12, Prot 9, Fiber 5 and total sodium was 360.

It was delicious~ and I am full! I drank water wish fresh lemon in it.

Maybe these are something you want to try. Having flax helps with getting some Omega 3.
