Looking Good

Thursday, May 27, 2010

Only a few days ago, I wrote about not noticing much difference in my body, or in my looks, more than clothes fitting a bit differently.

This week, I feel like I have crossed over some sort of intangible threshold, where I feel my body has shifted in some way. I can't tell you exactly how or what has changed, and it's not only another pound lost. It's different.

Having this thought appear just yesterday, it was interesting that today, two different people at work told me I was looking good! There was no mention of weightloss, but I guess whatever transition my body has gone through, and that I can feel, is also visible to others.

Ahh, the sweet winds of positive change!

What a wonderful feeling. I know with a couple fellow sparkers I can see the change in their face from their pictures. So, I think we would transcend that much more in person.
Ahh, the sweet winds of positive change. I love that. Yes, it sure is sweet!
    Congratulations on your progress... emoticon

Yay! I had that a little while ago too. I hadn't lost much weight but suddenly felt better and felt like I might look a bit better. I thought maybe it was better posture from doing yoga. Who knows? Compliments from co-workers is so nice! You're doing all the right stuff!

Congratulations! Nice! Good for you! Woohooo!
    I imagine you said..."YES"!!!
I notice that we change the smile, your eyes have a spark, some people maybe will said that you look taller, etc...
And the way that I think is that slow changes stay longer. Because that's mean that you not making a diet or exercises that later will be a Yoyo.

It's nice when that starts to happen, isn't it. It's even better as it keeps on happening. :) I think you'll find that the comments will keep on coming.

Sometimes things happen that we know not why. It means you are accepting your new journey and not stressing too much about weight loss. It is so wonderful that you accept the compliments and that in itself is a bonus.

That's great! I guess sometimes it's just the last hg that will make you feel better. I lost about 7 kg last year and no one noticed. But after the first 2 kg I lost with SP everyone was starting to comment on how I'd lost weight. And those 2 kg actually made a larger difference in the way I felt than the 7 kg from last year! The body's strange sometimes. :)

How nice! I think the slow changes is promising - the brain has to adjust and when i does maybe the changes are permanent...

There are days you can just FEEL things are different...even if the scale hasn't budged an ounce. You feel lighter, move differently, stand straighter; it's all good! emoticon

And thanks for the encouraging words on my blog. As you said, sometimes it is so easy to forget all the progress when a setback occurs. Friendship helps with that! emoticon

When u work out it makes u feel so good inside and u may not notice it but it gives u confidence. U may now have a little pep in ur step or more energy to put more time into ur presence. A little exercise changes everything emoticon
