Well, here’s the facts:
I lost 22 lbs from Dec. 22,09 to March 20, 2010.
Went from 221 to 194. (I had previously lost 5 lbs last October 09.)
I plateaued in April and didn’t lost a single fraction of a lb all month. I did stay on track with my eating.
May came and I seriously derailed! NO excuses, no justifications; I just quit eating like I should and to be straight out honest I went back to old habits like junk food, extra portions, and even drinking Mtn. Dew!
Now the Mtn. Dew thing was like playing with FIRE!
Prior to Spark I had this awful serious addiction to Mtn. Dew and would drink 10 cans a day sometimes. This stuff is like a drug. LOL It made me fat along with eating junk. I would go days at a time and drink my weight in the stuff and hardly eat because I would rather drink Mtn. Dew then eat. I walked around in a “fog”(didn’t address that truth of what it did to me mentally until after I joined Spark and was giving it up)!! So, yes in May I went back to this craziness! The last 2 wks I drank 12-24 ozs a day and ‘yes’ that is a far cry from 120 ozs but there are some foods --- some drinks you can’t even have in moderation because they are TRIGGER foods and a little leads to allot and allot leads to destructions and sabotage!
I used to do 1700 calories a day of this stuff (multiply that times 30 days a month!) 51,000 calories of sugar!
What is so bad about rekindling the old “love affair” with Mr. Mtn. Dew is that he triggers old love affairs with Mr. Doritoes and Miss Lil Debbie and Mr. Butter Popcorn! So the 5 of us had quite a little party!
BUT …….. Mr. Scales brought this party to a screeching halt!
He was quite the party pooper coz I put on 7 stinkin’ lbs.
3 days ago on MONDAY I weighed 201.4
So let’s just say May was a bad month!
I have a plan…. I will blog about that tomorrow. I not only have a plan….. I am doing it! NO more planning without some action!
So as Dr. Phil says “You can’t fix what you don’t acknowledge; you have to own it” Well I admit, acknowledge, confess, own this and now let’s fix it!
