Priorities

Monday, May 17, 2010

Today was a trying day in some ways. However, in the midst of difficulty, sometimes God speaks very clearly. And today He said I spend WAY too much time on the computer. So, while I will still be actively tracking nutrition and fitness on Sparkpeople, I will not be spending a lot of time with the teams. I'm naturally an extrovert, so I love all the interaction, but I have to set some priorities.

You'll still see me around, just not as often on the teams. I'll post a status and a blog when the Spirit moves me, but I may not be able to be on any of the forums.
I appreciate all of you!

I have cut back some too, but I enjoy interacting with people from so many places. Some have become familiar to me. Don't check out completely - we'll miss you too much!

I have been thinking about cutting back some on SP since I have to do it at night. It is cutting into my much needed sleep time.
Do what is best for you and what God leads you to do!!!

I hear you! I have times when I will be spending so much time on SP (too much of a potentially good thing!) and realize that I have misplaced my energy and efforts. This site can be so beneficial, but not when it is sucking time away from other more important things! Blessings, Liz

When God tells us to do something, we better listen and do it emoticon ! Maybe being on the computer too much was keeping you from a blessing. God knows what he is doing. I pray that you find whatever He wants you to seek with your time away.

Isn't being in God's will a BLAST! We'll look for you when we see you. Enjoy your time with your Heavenly Dad.

I know I spend too much time on the computer, too, but I can't give up the food and exercise tracking. I love reading the other blogs, and occasionally writing my own. Oh, and the trivia questions are great, too. Maybe I need to retire so I have more time.

I agree. I have decided the message boards are just not something I have time for right now. But keeping using the nutrition tracker!
