Scorecard for Day 2 - Saturday, May 15

Sunday, May 16, 2010

Day 2 was not bad and I feel pretty good! Although I am planning to take it one day at a time but I am also determined to do this for 30 days.

1. NUTRITION GOAL emoticon - GOAL NOT MET
- 2-3 snacks a day not exceeding 300 calories in total
- snacks consisted of 1.5 bananas, .5 oz walnuts, 1 cup milk, 2 cups of tea
- total calories - 459
- went way over on my snacks but the last snack of (walnuts and milk - total 205 calories) was a deliberate choice as I had not gotten my minimum calories for the day as all of my mains meals were under 350 calories. So, in a way, it was ok but it means that I did not meet my first goal

2. FITNESS GOAL emoticon GOAL NOT MET
- strength training - 6x a week for 20m (alternate upper / lower body)
- managed to do 15 minutes for lower body
- reason for not completing all 20 minutes is because I suffered a deep cut on my left foot which makes it difficult for me to put too much weight on it until the skin has healed more. I know that this means on the days that I am doing strength training for lower body, it will be difficult for me to manage the 20 minutes but I will make up for it by working on my core instead.

3. OTHER GOAL emoticon GOAL MET
- accomplish 1 housecleaning task daily
- vacuuming, cleaning washrooms, and laundry

Happy Sunday everyone!

Sounds like a perfect plan. I am hoping to do a similar 30 day streak too.

It sounds like you did well to me! I would say it is more important that you eat a healthy diet and get the right amount of calories than worrying about your snacks adding up to more calories than planned! I am sorry that you cut your foot, though. That sounds really painful. I hope it heals quickly!
