Pleasant surprises!

My school semester ended 5/5/10. I was excited to see it end. It meant more time to exercise, plan exciting menus and so on and so on. Well.....much to my surprise NONE of that has happened! I have at least been drinking my water, but I haven't been eating let alone exercising. So when I got up this morning I made a decision to step on the scale and start again.

Honestly, I really, really was not looking forward to that little arrow pointing up! I knew it was going to happen, I just didn't know how bad it was going to be. With my eyes closed, yes they really were, I walked the Green Mile and stepped on the scale.

I was so surprised when I opened my eyes, that I got on and off THREE times! I was very pleasantly surprised, I had actually lost 1.2 which put my total at 26 pounds lost! Yahoo!

I have proudly changed my profile picture to 25 pounds GONE...for good!

I still am 3 pounds from my April challenge, but that is ok. I have learned a valuable lesson. I have changed, for the good. Even though I may not eat as many calories as I should, even though I am not exercising like I should, my thinking has changed. I can't imagine cause I never thought that would happen! Hooray for me! And Hooray for you too! Cause it means we are changing our thinking together!

So shrug off your doom and gloom and get back on track with me! If you have stayed on track through this Spring double Hooray for you!

Hope you all have a great Friday!!! I am off to a play and an evening of fun with my roomy, something we both need!
