Glad that you did not get hurt or that the eye is ok after that accident. It was funny to think about having your bed fall apart but also glad that you did not get hurt. Never had a bed break on me but did fall out of bed. LOL Not as a kid but as an adult. Go figure. LOL emoticon

It happens to everyone at some time or another! At least it was in the privacy of your own home, I had that happen to me at a carnival around lots of other people, I had to leave I was so embarrased LOL, but I can laugh about it now!!

I hate embarrassments like that! Make a future joke out of it, so you can laugh every time you think of it.

At least it happened in private.

This although like you said "MY legs went flying up" Now actually is more common than you think. I had a few beds do that to me and it wasn't till I got a phrame that had a left to right cross piece in the middle.

Now at the time I was about 260 lbs and my Girlfiend about 210 so that was 470 lbs and what happens is the bed bows and either the top gives way or the bottom well early am CRASH we both laughed for like 20 minutes and then finally got up to see what was wrong, and when I got the new one with that cross bar and srewed it in I never had another problem with a bed again. I tell you my story as time passed by I was almost 400 lbs and my girlfiend was about 310 so there again 710 lbs and the bed is still gowing strong.

Now I don't have her in the bed any more and I am about 342 and the bed is stronger then ever. Now the other time it broke I was a young adult 18 and same thing happen, it came crashing down with a boom and my parents ran up stairs to see and me being 210 and in great shape all my parents could do was laugh but then so did I and it was a Holiday story that still comes up every onece in a while LOL,

But back then we did not have alot of money
so in the middle of the twin bed my dad put three cynder blocks one on each side in the middle and one on the center beam under the bed. Like I said at that time it's all we had but it worked great but the other time with my girlfriend we had a queen size and that frame really helped and that bed now or frame is some 28 years old and going strong now if you already have that type of frame and it broke just remember that the wood wears and eventually it breaks so don't feel bad it happened to alot of people I know even with some new beds. So LOL sure it up and you be good to go and good luck with your surgery and God bless and I'll teel you another time how I broke the hospital bed the ones with all the bells, whistels, positions and buttons. That was a funny story and my mom was there when it happened. WE Both laughed you know --it happens.

I wish you a safe operation and know I will be praying for you Amie.

Have a great day and you will be fine sending healing prayers your way.

    Love,
