Week 9

Saturday, April 24, 2010

Okay I had a good week. I burned off almost 4000 calories in workouts plus my two days of strength training. I had trouble getting in the protein but I got most of it in on average it was 100 grams a day. Need to work on that more.

But one EXCELLENT thing this week. I ordered three dresses online. I had a certificate for 40%off at Lane Bryant because it is my bday month. So I ordered this dress that looked cute and had good reviews. I also ordered a shrug and swim suit cover up. Then I saw that Fashion bug is part of the same company and went to check them out as well. Thought maybe I could get 2 dresses and see which one looks better. So fashion bug had dresses for $23.99 and buy one get one free!! I thought okay I can get three dresses. So I ordered them all three in a size smalled so it would give me incentive to lose weight in the next three months. I get them in and try them on and don't you know THEY ARE TOO BIG!!!!!!! STUPID SCALE!!! Says I am not losing any wieght then how in the world did I go down two sizes since November?????? I go back to my saying I don't care what the stupid scale says I feel great!!! So I will have to decide which one to get in a smaller size but I may change all of them for a smaller size and see what happens. I have to check to see if I can return them to the store and pick out another size that way. All these little steps HAVE to add up to one big one!!!

How exciting-- A new dress in a small size surely makes you feel great inside and out!

I wanted some better just everyday cloths so I too just ordered some capris off LB and then got some cheaper ones from Fashion Bug and I was pleased with what I got!

    Keep up the great workouts!

Haha! What a great thing, having the dresses be too big! It just goes to show that you can't always go by the scale, even though it is an indicator of how you're doing. However, size & fitness & health are better indicators of how you're doing. Congrats on your successes! :D

Congratulations Jenn! You are doing so great! During the last challenge I didn't lose any weight but I lost inches so I know what you mean about that scale. Keep up the good work!

Take pictures every month. Buy a tape measure. The scale is just ONE way to measure your progress. GO YOU!!!!
