trying to find an issue with someone's work?

Fortunately, this Monday morning was powerful! I listened to instruction on "focus"; had a fun little email with a new friend and went into work feeling like I could conquer it all.

I heard the owner mumble something about the insurance premium - so I (pro-actively) found his answer and took it in to him - instead of thanks - he just grumbled. Then he came in my office questioning some of the work I had done. Standing my ground, I stated I did nothing differently. When he went to the accounting office, he was told that they made the change to my work.

Here's the kicker - I jokingly said "take it back" and he refused. . . saying . . .Give me a little time - I'll find something you've done wrong.

What did I do you ask . . . .Panda Express double entree lunch. DANG!

I'm sorry, I hope he's not like that all the time. That doesn't sound like a healthy place to work. Good for you for not caving in to him. I totally understand why you gave in to Panda Express though. I got pretty stressed out today myself. I had a cigarette for the first time in about a year. It didn't even taste that great or calm me down like it used to. Oh well. tomorrow is a new day...oh it is tomorrow! emoticon
