End Of March..measurements, photos, thoughts

Wednesday, March 31, 2010

so i did my monthly stuff to keep myself accountable and to measure progress. To be honest, i didnt eat well yesterday..i knew better but still had my binge moment..seriously when will i get a handle on this?! Anyway, I stepped on the scale (after eating which i never do), I usually weigh in after i go to the bathroom as soon as i wake up. Anyway the scale read 151. I was so disappointed. Then I did my measurements, took my photos went to the bathroom and it read 149. So i'm not sure what my actual weight for the end of march should be so we will say 149-151. I was going to take photos in my bikini but i show waaaay too much skin right now lol. My boobs for one, do not fit into the top! haha. I'm not sure they ever will..and the bottoms, well my behind is a little too big at the moment. So i did my usual bike shorts and sports bra photos. I'm not seeing that much of a difference however, this time i posed while flexing my arms so you all get a free ticket to the gun show. I want to start measuring the muscle progress in my arms since i now strength train. Looking back at the month, my eating is still ridiculous..i'm hoping that changes in April. My goal for the new month is to cut my binge/late night eating for good. How? not sure yet. The money jar doesnt seem to be working yet.. okay onto my measurements and photos.

Measurements:

Weight: 151 (1st weigh in)
149 (2nd weigh in 10 min later)

Hips:
Last month: 38
This month: 37

Waist:
Last Month: 30
This Month: 29

Right Thigh:
Last Month: 21
This Month: 21.5 (going the wrong way!)

Right Arm:
Last Month: 12
This Month: 11.5

I'm happy with the measurements, which im glad are down considering how much i put in at the gym! Lets keep those numbers goin DOWN! Now the photos...

You are looking better and better each month! I completely agree...the scale is definitely not telling the story of how much better you look and how all your hard work is showing!!

Please tell me you see a difference? I can see it, which means all your gym work is doing it. Forget that freakin scale.

    Go. Throw. It. Out. Now.

Do you want to know just how anal and analytical I am. I go back to your pictures from the previous month and look at them side by side in two different windows and I can totally see the difference!!

    Go. Throw. It. Out. Now.

You look awesome! With all your hard work you can't help but reap benefits in so many ways. Now that some stress is relieved by finding a job, that may be one of the keys you need to help with the snacking. It is for sure a tough habit to break but recognizing it and working on it is moving forward. I'm looking forward to April being a great month too!

Do the best you can and everything will work out.

You are a work in progress, and in my experience, every work of art runs into slow downs. In the end, the finished project is awesome! Wait a minute ... you're already awesome! Guess when you are finished you will be SUPER AWESOME!!!!!

You'll get it figured out. The eating is probably being caused by your stress. You'll get your balance back. Just keep holding yourself accountable and "restart" as often as needed.
