Almost A Year...

I am 6 weeks short of completing one full year on my weight loss journey. In looking back - It has been a rollercoaster ride to say the least.
I have lost 55 lbs (I have gained 5 lbs over the last few weeks) and I am faithful to the gym and managing my eating habits 75% (good) 25% (bad).
I am - and have been on a weight loss plateau for 3 months now. I work out harder and no only do I not lose..I at times gain! But....I am healthier! I am stronger! I am confident! And. I feel & look good! I go to the gym 4-5 times per week. I have gone to a nutritionist and worked with personal trainers and...it's all good! I am less focused on a "goal" weight and more focused on my journey....I WILL continue to lose weight (at some point!) and I will get stronger and more fit and gain valuable knowledge during the process. Unlike other attempts at weight loss I have come to believe that I must celebrate my accomplishments but focus on continuing with the life long journey for good health & fitness.

    I think our body needs time to adjust to its new demands and conditions.
    You have lost a very respectable amount for one year (twice as much as I have) and as long as you're staying about the same and doing the right things most of the time- it's all good!
