Day 11 new strategy

So I've been at this new lifestyle for 11 days! I'm so happy for me and the choice I've made! I've only lost 5 pounds which is better then nothing but I'd like to see better results! I've decided to take in the lower end of my calorie goal of 1200 and increase the exercise. I've been walking an average of 2 miles per day which is about an hour of exercise... I'm can't walk real fast yet but am walking what I can. So I think if I increase it to an average of 3 or more miles a day then I'd burn more and ultimately lose more. This is my theory and we'll see if it works. I'm still so excited about this journey! emoticon

    Good for you! Another thing you might do as you are able is to add weights while you are walking. You can get ankle weights or if you feel comfortable, take a small pair of dumbbell weights with you. Adding the weights will help build muscle (especially if you can do some over head presses, bicep curls, etc) and muscle burns more calories than fat, even at rest!

    I just recently joing SP too (9 days ago to be precise) and I am loving it! The Nutrition Tracker is incredible and I love that it will tell you in a pie chart where your calories are coming from!
