Great Minds Think Alike

Thursday, March 18, 2010

Yesterday, I got an email from my sister. She had started a blog about working on improving her health and getting in better shape and she invited me to read it and support her. Neither of us had talked to the other about our thoughts and reaching that point of "something has got to change!" Then we did, almost at the same time. She started a blog, I registered for SparkPeople.

After she was brave enough to invite me on her journey, I got bold enough to share mine with her too.

I'm very excited about having someone close to me be on the same journey at the same time. It makes it more real and more difficult to just disappear into obscurity if I lose my way. Our struggles aren't identical, but similar enough that we can relate, support each other and learn from each other.

So, here we go! Sis and I! emoticon

It's great to have someone close to you to be able to take this journey with! I wish you both the best of luck on your journey together!! emoticon
